Loved itGreat storyfirst time reading a book from Adrianne ByrdI am now a fan Loved Lyfe and Corona Maethat was serious love they had for one another Tess and Melody were hilarious Great bookwould highly recommend A Christmas Affair Can true love stand the test of timeA Christmas Affair was an ntertaining and refreshing read We meet and xplore the relationship of Corona Mae Chloe Banks and Lyfe Alton A relationship that started in the seventh grade and progressed to teenage love at the age of 17 but once the relationship advanced to a intimate level the young lovers were forced to make decisions that changed the course of their lives Fourteen years later Corona Chloe is now ngaged to another and Lyfe realizes he still loves her and tries to convince her in four weeks that the WOW Ms Byrd has done it again In a Christmas Affair Chloe ran away from home and a shot gun wedding at the age of 17 She felt she was too young to be getting married all because she had sex Lyfe was the jilted groom so to speak Chloe becomes successful while living in New York hiding from her family and keeping secrets while Lyfe lives in Atlanta As president of the talent agency she built from scratch Chloe Banks is a New York success story But beneath the fast track facade is a small town girl who's never forgotten her humble beginnings and whose past is a closely guarded secret.
As there since they were teenagers and never went away I have to say Ms Byrd has a knack for writing love scenes because Corona Lyfe s first one was when they were teenagers and I have to say it was hot All of their subseuent love scenes were ually on fire I d love to read a story between Tessa Hennesey Corona s sister Lyfe s brother those two pranksters seem like they would set the pages of the book ablaze The only thing I couldn t understand about the story was Corona s secret from Lyfe and why she kept it so long It made sense to keep the secret in the beginning but after so many years I just couldn t come with a reasonable reason why she would continue to do so I really could have done without Rowan also he was almost irrelevant to the whole story The was a cute sweet holiday read that I d definitely recommend I thought the book was OK It is not the best book I have read from this author I really wanted to like it but some of Corona s decisions were just not believable or honorable referenceMelody That single part of the book is the main reason I didn t rate it The writing of the story flowed and was overall a good read. He bright lights of the big city Now he has just four weeks to seduce her back into his bedor lose her forever With Chloe nestled in his arms where she belongs can Lyfe turn their sizzling Christmas affair into a season for second chances.
Eing successful as well They are reunited and the sparks fly when one of them announces they are getting married Excellent story A DELIGHTFUL Christmas treata page turnerwith loads of unexpected twists and turnsand I DEFINITELY hated for it to ndI can hardly wait to read about those OUTRAGEOUS Alton brothers and the Banks familywell done Ms Byrd It is funny how we think we can leave our old life and family for what we think is better than what we had This book was very good First off let me start off by stating I do not like the cheating thing never have and probably never will That alone left a very unpleasant taste in my mouth But if you take that out of the One Giant Leap euation this was a laugh out loud never put down wonderful story Corona an This was probably the 2nd best book I have read by Adrianne Byrd My ratings may be a littlexaggerating because I m a huge fan of her booksI will like to start Loved this book I loved how Lyfe loved Corona for so long and she loved him just as long This book made you feel the love the time lost the hurts and misunderstandings I really njoyed this story The chemistry between Corona Lyfe Until Chloe's family comes to visit and brings a special holiday gift Sensual Southern charmer Lyfe Alton was her childhood sweetheartand is the man who still owns her heartLyfe was devastated when Chloe left their Georgia hometown for
