This book hit me by surprise I thought Robopocalypse was a stand alone book and worked uite well at that The seuel is just OK It felt shoehorned in to give us a seuel The gist f the book is that there s another AI threatening both humanity and the freeborn The robots are still evolving while new creatures are appearing throughout the world The book is divided into thirds and I didn t care for the first part focusing Hill Country Cattleman (Brides of Simpson Creek, on Lark Iron Cloud and Hank Cotton much at all It gets betternce Mathilda and Cormac Wallace enter the picture I didn t get the stuff with the Deep Minds at all How did servers get to the bottom And Babies Make Ten (New Arrivals of thecean At the end a ton Groom Wanted (Bowen, of coincidental things happen so that everyone can meet all atnce I have wanted to read Robopocalypse since I first heard about it Before I knew it the seuel is being released I have still not read the first book but want to now after reading this Under the Surface (SEALs of Fortune one This is another book that I took a chance with having not read the firstne I was afraid that it would be so so Luckily I am not ne f those people who won t read a book unless I have read all the Leaving Enchantment (The Birth Place others in the series Or I might have missedut Protecting Plain Jane / Navy SEAL Security (Includes: The Precinct: SWAT on how awesome this book turnedut to be I liked the realistic feel to the story As If I could see this really coming true This book has that great sci fi aspect to it without coming Not Another Wedding off as gimmicky I like the way this book was laidut It was spilt into sections Each About Last Night one focusing and giving a voice tone Deadly Reunion of the three main characters Lark Iron Cloud Mathilda Perez and Cormac Wallace This helped me to keep everyone straight in my head and focusn what was happening in that moment especially since I had not read the first book This book would make a great television show I loved this book The writing is great and the story kept me interested all the way throughLove from page North Country Hero North Country Family oneCouldn t stop readingMy favoritef the newly upcoming book seriesso awesomeAnother great story in the Robopocalypse s seriesIntriguing characters great action and and ending that will blow your mindA must read for all scifiRockman XMegaman Xcybernetic revoltrobot s uprisingTerminator s movie sagasmilitary scifiBorgsMachine s uprisingGURPS Reign Wilderness of Steelapocalypsepost apocalypsedistopia etc fansut thereSAD that the movie project Brannigans Baby of its predecessor was cancelled by that % steven spielberg I HATE YOU YEAH YOU HEARD ME anywaythere is backgroundn some Badlands (Aftershock, of theld characters These Ghosts Are Family of the first novel and most characters are very developed If you re after something deep meaningfulr emotional i strongly recommend this seueli also I would like to thanks mister Daniel Wilson for also providing me with an ARC copy because i am too a big fan Plain Sanctuary of Robopocalypse and i War War never changesWait a sec This is almost like that but grittier and uglier and the tiny tiny piecesf hope Innocents Champion or light that keep these shattered remnantsf minds whether human hybrid Il tempo e le ore. crazy and anyone s definitionf the antichristI can t believe what had become Silk, Swords and Surrender of the Gray Horse Army All my favorite charactersWell war changes everything doesn t it Just wowThe most fascinating partsf this novel are not the straight plot it s the shifting boundaries and the cleanup Reforming the Rake of the New War from the previous novel It s the redefiningf what it means to be alive and intelligent and the fact that everyone even the supermassive brains New Years Kisses of the AIs are in the end not much different than the restf us All my attention was focused The Spanish Billionaires Mistress (Latin Lovers, on the subtleties but don t let me mislead you any hereThis is just as bloody and dire and disturbing as the previous novel that decimated humanity and changed us all into slaves monstersr victims It s just the shifting lines that s any different In the end though I m truly fascinated by the plethora f ideas and disturbing imageries It feels like a nightmare that no ne can ever wake up from again This is not your granddaddy s cautionary tale Man Behind the Facade of AI s run amok I wanted to love this because I loved Robopocalypse but I just didn t I found it hard to read because it was just so depressing and gruesome It was well written and followed the same format as the firstne but it just didn t have the same energy and excitement as the previous novel mostly I struggled to pick it back up because everything was so dreary and hopeless Firstly before I begin I would like to thank Daniel H Wilson for providing me with an ARC copy As a big fan Captive in the Millionaires Castle of Robopocalypse I felt honoured to be given such a privilege and this review is the least I can do to show my gratitudeRobogenesis is the seuel to the highly praised Robopocalypse For those who haven t read Robopocalypse in a while I would suggest that you re read it before Robogenesis It s not compulsory and you will still understand Robogenesis but I personally benefited from reading Robopocalypse again first as it was fresh in my memory If you were a huge huge fanf Robopocalypse like me then you re in for a real treat Why you ask Because personally I feel like Robogenesis is even better than its preuel I had high expectations already but said expectations were completely blown ut f the water with this seuelThe story is split into three parts Lark Iron Cloud Mathilda Perez and Cormac Wallace I was really pleased about this as they were my favourite characters in Robopocalypse If however like me you were also a big fan The Private Affairs of Lady Jane Fielding of Nine Oh Two and Takeo Nomura don t worry they are still a big partf Robogenesis and you will get to see their perspectivenarrative as well so don t be under the impression that they are left ut f the main plot The thing that enticed me with not Rugrats And Rawhide only Robogenesis but also Robopocalypse was the setting Daniel H Wilson is a natural at setting the scene and making it realistic for his readers I genuinely felt encapsulated in this story and I also felt like I was partf the Gray Horse Army To create that impression in a story is a very difficult thing indeed Wilson does this perfectly almost at easeAnother interesting thing about the setting is that it never stays the same for extended periods Crven Ban of time This is a great thing because if you re like me and get boredf setting rather easily this will not be a problem for you The setting ranges from basements and Bride of Shadow Canyon (Bride, offices to widepen woods and so much in between What I liked about Robogenesis so than Robopocalypse was that everything was tied together uickly and the story unfolded before my eyes in a rather genius way We follow the stories Temporary Bride (Silhouette Romance, of uite a few rather intriguing characters and it s easy to see where said characters tie in with the restf the story for better A Sweetheart for Jude Fortune (The Fortunes of Texas: Welcome to Horseback Hollow or for worse Another clever thing that Daniel does is his skill at balancing characters Personally I usually go for a book with fewer characters it s less confusing and I can relate to them better This however revolves around a vast arrayf characters and I wouldn t have it any The Tiny Journalist other way There wasn t a point in this book when I saidh greatinsert name here is narrating this parthow boring In fact each and every time I was glad that each character was playing their part and tying things up and I could imagine myself in their position with ease I was not at any point confused about who was doing what It was easy to remember the roles each person was playing in the story even if there was a large gap between their partsHad this book been narrated from Cardinal Sins (Born to Darkness, one perspective it would not be the same book and I am grateful that Wilson crea. The stunningly creative epic seuel to Wilson's blockbuster thriller and New York Times bestseller Robopocalypse The machine is stillut there Still alive Humankind had triumphed Commitment over the machines At the endf Robopocalypse the modern world was largely devastated humankind was pressed to the point f annihilation and the earth was left in tatters but the master artificial intelligence presence known as Archos had been ki.

Ted such loveable characters that we can almost relate to in some ways My favourites being Lark Iron Cloud and Nine Oh Two This I didn t expect because Mathilda has always been a favourite f mine in Robopocalypse but the character building The Ladys Handbook for Her Mysterious Illness of Lark and Nine just got to me and I couldn t help but love them for their uniue uirks that make them them I could talk about this book all day and all night with words still to spare There was so much goingn and so much to talk about It s ne f those books that you can discuss with your friends for months Euripides Fabulae: Vol. II: (Sup., El., Her., Tro., Iph.Tau., Ion): 2 on end This is the typef book that you can easily say something happens in every single chapter It truly does I tested it myself read a chapter asked myself what had happened and listed at least 5 things each time I then proceeded to do the same for each and every chapter to act as a recap for what at happened and it truly made me realize how much is condensed into this story to make it an action packed plotI also didn t think I could get emotional at such a book but at some points I was actually tearing up Not Jean-Paul Sartre only at the raw emotion felt by these characters but the experiences they went through I shan t list these things I got tearyver as this review is purposively spoiler free Admittedly when I was
